🏰 Angevin Castle of Mola di Bari
Start the day at the symbol of the city. Built in the 13th century at the behest of Charles I of Anjou, it dominates the harbour with its imposing and compact structure. Walk around the walls and imagine the ancient defences against incursions from the sea.

Immediately afterwards, enter the old village: a maze of white alleys, stone arches and small courtyards where time seems to stand still.

⛪ Matrix Church of St Nicholas
In the heart of the old town, this church retains Romanesque traces and houses works of art and relics related to the cult of St Nicholas. The interior is simple but evocative.
